The Creative Engagement programme at the Beacon is designed to offer meaningful interaction with communities across Inverclyde and beyond, encouraging equality by reducing barriers to accessing the arts.
A lot of our work revolves around establishing, building and deepening relationships with partners that are characterised by trust, authenticity, respect and compassion. Through these partnerships we aim to meet the needs of the community. Community workshops, performances and events are held both inside Beacon Arts Centre and across the local area in one of our partner organisations and community hubs.
Being the leading cultural organisation at the heart of Inverclyde we provide opportunities for regeneration and employment by enhancing participants skill sets and creating opportunities for freelance artists.
