Step into a musical time machine with New York City jazz artists Sarah King and John Merrill. Celebrating beloved standards from the Great American Songbook, this captivating concert explores themes of time, trave, and nostalgia, transporting audiences to the golden age of jazz, one song at a time.

Vocalist Sarah King brings warmth, charm and theatrical flair to every performance. A trained actor, chanteuse, street performer and dancer, she has appeared in speakeasies - both glamorous and unconventional - across New York and beyond. King continues to perform throughout New York City with a rotating cast of accomplished jazz musicians. Her recordings include Tulip or Turnip (2021) and The Masquerade is Over (2023) and also features on Stéphane Wrembel’s Django New Orleans recordings.

Guitarist John Merrill is a seasoned New York-based guitarist whose career spans more than three decades, five continents and hundreds of live appearances. Equally at home as a solo artist or ensemble musician, he has performed in renowned jazz clubs, international festivals and concert venues around the world.

Together, King and Merrill bring timeless songs to life with elegance, wit, and musicianship, creating an evening that celebrates the enduring magic of classic jazz.
