Directed by Douglas Nairne and designed by Kenneth MacLeod, the drama is plunged into a world of crime and passion amidst the treacherous mafia underworld. Award-winning Scottish soprano Monica McGhee leads a star cast in the iconic title role. The production is performed in a special new version for piano and solo violin and is sung in English.
