*This video produced in 2016, showcases the project aims and benefits for its participants.

    • Participants gained physical benefits such as increased range of movement, strength, agility and balance while developing self awareness, physical mastery of the body and a better understanding of their condition.
    • Cognitive benefits included increased focus, memory function, and ability to socially engage with peers.
    • The performance element of the project gave participants a true sense of empowerment and accomplishment.

This project allows participants to become dancers, performers and choreographers with a creative voice, to build self-esteem and through participation in performing arts, change their perception of themselves to realise that their health challenges shouldn’t define them.
